I am a retired General Contractor with over five decades of construction experience. I have constructed single family homes both small residential and multimillion dollar homes. In addition, commercial buildings and full condo developments as part of my experience.
In my retirement I have been keeping myself busy with helping friends and neighbors with repair projects for their homes.
As a young man I worked for a builder who hired a 5 man crew and we did everything needed to build a house. Dug the footers by hand, poured the concrete, framed the houses, installed the HVAC, plumbing, electrical, dry walled, painted, built the cabinets, installed all exterior siding, and roofing. We did it all, including landscaping.
I am so grateful to Dean for all he has done for us all to promote and educate us all about the world of real estate. My hope is to provide a free source of helpful information for your repair items. In most cases I can send you a response through this blog or direct you to a you tube solution to a problem.
I may not have answers to every question,however, will do my best to find an answer for you.
