my story

I grew up a promising, successful athlete in Canandaigua, NY. I never knew what I wanted to do and as a result I found myself falling behind all of my friends and people my age. Depressed and not used to failure I turned to Drugs and Alcohol for my escape and wasted 10 years of my life. Once I got clean (going on 4 years now) I thought long and hard about my life and what I honestly wanted out of it. In 2011 I decided I wanted to be in Real Estate. I didn't know anything about it at the time and thought I had to go to school and be an agent to have anything to do with Real Estate whatsoever. One day I stumbled across Dean's book; 'Be a Real Estate Millionaire' and it immediately changed my outlook. I realized I didn't need to be an agent to be an investor. I started devouring any information I could get my hands on, took online classes with Phil Pustejovski, and signed up on this site. I wouldn't change anything about my past because it has taught me so many lessons about life and the things that truly matter most. I want to invest in real estate to become financially free, give back to people in need, and to take care of and thank my parents for being the most amazing people in the world. Every day that I wake I try to learn as much as I can about investing and the best and fastest way to get started in my current situation. I am very hopeful that through this site and continued research that I will find the right people that will help me continue climbing the ladder of success.
