At 50, I find myself recently divorced and starting over from ground zero. I’ve dug a deep hole, so there is only one way up and out. X to start getting serious and learning all I can as a REI. Gotta make the second half, the better half.
Currently I help other investors get financed for their real estate purchases with hard money loans. Now it’s time I get more involved. I had flipped a few homes with my wife, so I’m not a stranger to door knocking and speaking with distressed home owners. It was her money and she handled all the paper work. She also dealt with the real estate agent. I should have paid more attention to the art of the negotiation. I was more hands on at the job site. My plan is to get involved in wholesaling at first, then purchase and flip. It would be really cool to get my children involved as well. Being able to help my kids, and doing my small part to help this economy by putting people to work, creating jobs through rehabbing properties is awesome, and making bank is pretty cool too.
DREAM BIG AND DARE TO FAIL!
